    Overall I’m pretty happy with my new vice. I am especially enjoying the rotary function which was the main reason for upgrading to it. I have to say I don’t love the feel of this vice. Its major components are made (I think) of aluminium which feels a bit light under the hand and (there’s no nice way of saying this) a bit cheap. This vice costs more than £300: this represents OK value for money in my opinion. In terms of function, however, I can’t fault it: my tying has improved and become easier since I started using it. So I am definitely happy enough even though I bet this vice doesn’t last as long as my previous Dyna-King.

    This is an excellent vice and I can see why it is Renzettis most popular product. I deliberated for a long time before making my mind up and I am not disappointed with my final choice. The rotary action is very smooth and the grip on the hook is exceptionally good. I am glad that I let Nige talk me in to trading up to the 2300 rather than the bog standard 2000. It really is a nice product and well worth paying a little more for.

    The Renzetti Traveler 2300 vice is a very nice tool to work with. I like its simple design, its easy to use functionality and the black finish makes it kind of stylish. Although I am just a beginner in fly tying I can highly recommend it.
